A free community resource
About us

Why this site exists

This website is a project of the Pelvic Organ Prolapse Support Society, an online community working to break the silence around pelvic organ prolapse. No woman should have to discover this condition alone at two in the morning with only a search bar for company.

Our aims are simple.

Get in touch

The best way to reach us is inside the community itself. Post your question in our Facebook group and an admin or one of the members will get back to you.

Please note that we cannot give medical advice, in the group or anywhere else. For anything to do with your health, contact your healthcare provider.

About this information

Content on this site draws on reputable medical sources, including the Cleveland Clinic, peer reviewed urogynecology journals, Cochrane reviews, and patient advocacy organizations. Our community admins review it for tone and accuracy, and we update it as the evidence changes. It is educational only, and it is never a substitute for care from your own provider.

Before anything else

Talk to someone who can examine you

Nothing on this site replaces your own doctor, gynecologist, or pelvic health physiotherapist. If something here sounds like you, book the appointment. No symptom is too small or too embarrassing to mention.

And when you are ready

You do not have to figure this out alone

Our free, private Facebook community is full of women who understand, because they have lived it. Questions welcome. Judgment never.
